Day 4: EL FUERTE. Relaxing day to enjoy the hotel tropical gardens, antiques, many historical documents on display, and swimming pool. Optional day trips available: Take the self-guided Colonial Walking Tour of the local church, municipal palace, museum, the plaza and various old mansions. Visit the local Tehueco Mayo Indian Mission built in 1650, the Nahuatl Petroglyphs, or the historical silver mining town of Alamos. Visit Bird Island, fish for largemouth bass, or ride horses.

Day 5: EL FUERTE to CHIHUAHUA. Morning departure to the Los Mochis international airport for the flight back to Chihuahua. Spend the afternoon sightseeing in Chihuahua. Optional tours: City Tour of the state capitol, Cathedral of San Francisco (built in 1724), Museum of the Revolution (Pancho Villa’s former mansion). One night in Chihuahua.
Day 6: CHIHUAHUA to USA. Morning departure to the Chihuahua international airport for the flight back home.
