Day 1: USA to CHIHUAHUA to DIVISADERO. Fly to Chihuahua. Ground transportation to Divisadero where you will stay in a luxury hotel right on the canyon rim. Explore the area, see the Tarahumara Indians, and just enjoy the spectacular view from your private balcony or lodge deck. This is the highest point of the canyon and offers the fullest view of the canyon. That evening enjoy the local mariachis. Two nights in Divisadero at the luxurious Hotel Pasada Barrancas Mirador. Meals included: (Dinner).

Day 2: DIVISADERO. Spend the morning hiking, bird-watching, shopping or just relaxing on your private balcony. Optional afternoon tour to Creel, a charming frontier town along the Copper Canyon rail. Visit the Tarahumara Museum, the Artesanias Mission, and browse the local shops (optional tour $25).

Day 3: DIVISADERO to EL FUERTE. Relaxing morning. Early afternoon departure on the famous Copper Canyon train (first-class train), one of the worlds most scenic train journeys! Copper Canyon is four times the size of the Grand Canyon. The Copper Canyon line took almost a century to complete with 86 tunnels & 39 bridges, crossing the Continental Divide three times. Pass through 86 tunnels and over 39 bridges. Venture high into the Sierra Madres surrounded by pine forests. Enjoy the most scenic and breathtaking views the canyon has to offer. Two nights in the Hotel Posada del Hidalgo, a deluxe hotel in colonial El Fuerte. The hotel blends the charm of a colonial period mansion with modern comfort. Meals included: (B, L).
